Our community

The Fuller Movement Center is dedicated to working with the local community to help others that may not have the opportunity to experience the joys and benefits of learning to look inward to experience growth and awareness.

Fresh Start

The Fresh Start program is a 12-month, residential program designed for female, substance abusing offenders and their children. The program provides a safe, nurturing environment for women and children as they face recovery from addiction and learn new life skills that develop their self-sufficiency.

While in the program women receive the following services: Assessment/Intake, Case Management, Individual Service Planning, Substance Abuse Treatment, Mental Health Services, Medical Services, Crisis Intervention, Day Care/Head Start Referral/Enrollment, Adult Education, Parenting Assessment/Evaluation/Referral and Skill Training, Life Skills, Vocational Counseling, Employment Readiness Training, Health Education, Sexual Assault/Survivor Support Community Service, Recreation, Self Help Groups, Aftercare, Anger Management, Domestic Violence Support.

Fuller Movement teaches yoga as part of the health and wellness aspect of CRT's Fresh Start program since June of 2006. Students learn how to relax and become less reactive as well as finding compassion, patience and the divine art of receiving.

Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts of the USA is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls—all girls—where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, like leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

Nurturing Families Program

Fuller Movement Center has collaborated with the Hispanic Health Council to provide yoga to first time mothers and their newborns. Teaching mothers how to de-stress is an important part of parenting. Mothers visit the studio once and week and once a month they learn how to bond with baby through yoga.

The Nurturing Families Program is a free, voluntary home based visitation program to assist the families of newborns. The mission of the Nurturing Families Program is to help first time parents manage the stress of having a new baby and develop problems solving skills. Your assigned family support worker will be your guide in this process.

The Nurturing Families Program staff recognizes that babies do not come with instruction booklets. For many first time parents there is little time for parenting education and support. Your family support worker can help you give your baby the most valuable gift of all a loving, nurturing and happy family. The Nurturing Families Program wants to help all first time parents in their new roles. We welcome all family members including the father of the baby to participate in the program as much as possible. Your family support worker will visit with you in your home.
