INVERSIONS DEMYSTIFIED

Sunday, May 9, 2010
1pm-4pm
Fee $65
Full registration prior to May 1st $55

Upside Down Fundamentals & Basic Acrobatics (All Levels)

The mystery of inversions is no match for acrobatic training techniques! The ancient yoga texts tell us the headstand and shoulder stands are the King and Queen of asanas, mainly due to their vast medical benefits. These and other inversions, such as handstand and forearm stand, can be an enjoyable part of your daily practice once you learn how to work progressively. After solidifying spotting techniques, we will progress to Basic Partner Acrobatics and Pyramids, cultivating trust, strength and flexibility while working as a team. A playful, safe, supportive environment will empower the whole room to be upside down! Some yoga experience recommended, no inversion experience required.
